Hatcher Pass B&B
We stayed at Hatcher Pass B&B in July 2005, and loved it. They have about 8 separate log cabins. We stayed in an "Alaska Grande" cabin, which was the perfect size for our family of 4. There was a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, and a loft (reached by stairs) with another queen bed and a futon. Everything was quite new and in good, very clean condition. Breakfast was provided in the form of a stocked refrigerator, with eggs, sausage, etc. for us to prepare ourselves. The grounds were lovely, with tons of flowers in hanging baskets, wishing well, window boxes, etc.
The owners dog, Shadow, was friendly. The locations is several miles outside of Palmer, up the Hatcher Pass Road. There was a gas station and ice cream place across the street. Very quiet location. Their website is www.hatcherpassbb.com
