Alamo Lake State Park: Camp By a Lake in the Middle of Nowhere

Alamo Lake is a picturesque albeit isolated place. The lake was created by a dam and offers great fishing and birdwatching. Some wild burros live here too. The park was scheduled for closure due to budget problems in Arizona but locals and fans of the park raised enough money to save it (at least for now). There is a campground here with nice views of the lake. Prices are: Non-electric sites for $13-$15; and electric sites for $22-$25 as of March 2011. I have not camped here just wanted to let you know it is available.
