I was in Chandler for 4 months in 2003 and 3 months in 2004, both for business trips.
Chandler is a well-planned city. All the major roads are in square grids so it's really easy place to navigate. It has a booming local economy - new buildings and subdivision are being constructed.
I was there in the height of summer, where it got 112F - the hottest temperature I experienced ever.
