Location in the Middle of It All

It was overall okay. The room was clean and it had a fridge and microwave. The lobby had coffee, continental breakfast, including pancakes. The staff were new and claimed to have cleared out the long term stays, and the drug abusers/users that were staying there. I believe the story. It did not look like a place to have this, but location, location. It is close to the bus station, and bus routes.
The ice machine was filthy, and the overall grounds looked like needed spiffing up

Unique Quality: I can't think of any off hand. The price with tax of $44 was unique and why I stayed here on my budget trip

Good Waffles, cheap sleeps

This place is cheap. It doesn't look like much and it really isn't. However, my stay here is fine. The place is clean, the managers are nice, the waffles in the morning are delicious. I definitely recommend staying here for the price and the location. It is across the street from Northern Arizona University, right off of Old Route 66 and down the road from highway 40. This place is nothing fancy, but it is definitely worth the stay if you are looking to save money. If you drive, you can park your car right in front of your room. I saw people of all ages here, but no children. I think families may be turned off because the outside isn't much to look at. The truth is that there isn't much for kids to do at the place, there is no pool or anything like that, but if you don't plan on hanging out during the day, it is fine for kids. The place is under new management, so I don't know what it was like before.

Unique Quality: The best thing about this place is the waffles in the morning. They were great. I am not a coffee drinker, and they didn't have tea, but they did provide orange juice. Also, the Manager's Wife provided the front desk with a little booklet she made of things to do in Flagstaff, what events are going on, and where things are. It was great. They have free WiFi too.
