Rude - Do Not Stay Here
Do not stay at this hotel. The staff is rude from the front desk to the General Manager. I cannot say enough bad things about this hotel. Save yourself from the hassel and stay some place else even if it costs more money.

Wasnt sure what to expect after reading all the previous comments. I chose this place for the hot breakfast. The price was comparable to similar hotels in the area. We stay two nights for $45/night. Free internet access at the lobby. Staff was friendly. Room was average, can use new carpets. Hot breakfest was pretty good. The only bad thing was the hotel was on East Route 66, so the train was loud - bring your ear plugs. Basically, average rooms, good breakfast, and loud trains, everything that I expected. I was satisfied.
I saw an add in a free publication called Grand Canyon Tusayan Guide, page 5 for this hotel. The ad looked good which cannot be the indicator about a hotel, but we were driving and had no chance to do a internet search. We arrived late at night after a drive back from a day at the Grand Canyon. This place was a dump! We booked the most expensive suite with Jacuzzi and it was a third world country experience! Believe me I have been in India and stayed in Indian hotels cleaner and nicer than this place. The room was complete with a hole in the wall, a cracked mirror surround around the jacuzzi, a very dirty old frayed carpet. The kitchen looked like a relic from the 1950's with an old two burner stove, an unplugged microwave and small refrigerator, plus a working coffee pot were provided. We did not even try the Jacuzzi. Run do not walk away from this place!
you have to drive down a hill to get ice, there is an in room mini-fridge, but it doesn't work. the ceilings have brown spots on them and my 12 year old daughter woke up under a blanket with stains on it that I would not want CSI to run their wand over. Sleep in your car if this is your only option.
We have stayed at this hotel many times... always returning...
It's not a 5 star hotel... but they have nice jacuzzi tub rooms and a wonderful hot breakfast and free happy hour! Who can pass up a free beer!?
We have only stayed in a regular room once... and yes it was a bit small and not NEARLY as nice as the Jacuzzi Suites! Cheap getaway from Phoenix!
The floors and walls are thin. I could hear conversations in other rooms and people going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I didn't think the train noise was bad. The executive suites do not have air flow in the separate bedroom so you have to keep the bedroom door open. Our view out of the bedroom window was a broken down RV with motor parts everywhere. Bring a fan to block out the noises from the rooms above and on each side of you and to circulate the air.
So bad we did not stay--paid 2X rate for one of the last available rooms in the city at another hotel. Was worth it. Otherwise do what prior reviewer said: sleep in car. Site photos have obviously had some skilled photoshopping or something: room was dingy, peeling paper, odd smell, and we were creeped out by linens/comforter/carpet--just had old, dirty look. Clothes hanging area (can't call a wooden framework suspended from the wall a closet) was located in the shower/toilet area, which may have resulted in damp clothes after showering--we didn't stay to find out. Final straw was that room was warm. Thermostat fell off of wall when touched. I replaced, wiring was ok, but no AC. no fan, nothing. Call to office resulted in sage advice that "sometimes it's tricky". I'm an engineer--tricky means broke.
One other observation: while we were loading and then reloading our stuff in the car, there were several guys just hanging out leaning over the 2nd story railing in their "wifebeater" t-shirts, just kinda watching us. Maybe not a problem, but I wouldn't have been comfortable leaving electronics, cameras or jewelry in the room while we were gone.
The InnSuites in Flagstaff is a dump ! The actual hotel (really a motel) is much worse than the pictures on the website. Wish we had looked at TripAdvisor first before booking. It's right across the street from the train tracks and you can hear the trains all night. The rooms are clean but really need remodeling. The phones in the room did not work and neither did the hair dryers. The breakfast was terrible. We moved after 2 nights to the other end of town.
Stayed in a 2 room suite. Clean and well equipped with a frig, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer. Good hot breakfast. Friendly staff and good value. Hotel is older but is going thru a remodel.

The breakfast that was served was very good and nice.Had lotsa options to choose from.
