Needs Work

My sister worked as a waitress at a Howard Johnson's many years ago and I remember the motel as pretty nice. This one may have been pretty nice once too, but like a lot of the places along Old Route 66 in Flagstaff, this place has seen better days. It needs work. I was offered a room at a discount; but the girl behind the desk said the doorlock did not work from the outside and she would have to let me in with a key, meaning that if I left the room I would have to prop the door open to get back in. I paid a little extra for a regular room. It was adequate for a nights sleep but I still haven't stayed in a hotel in Flagstaff I would return to. The girl at the desk was nice enough and the condition of the motel was not her fault.
