Great if you're traveling with kids

After a bit of research, we decided on Little America because it had a playground. We were NOT disappointed. This is an excellent place to let your rug rat burn off some energy from being stuck in a car seat all day. There are also wonderful hiking trails, sand volleyball, and a gorgeous pool which was even more gorgeous at night with all the tiki torches and lights. By day, it looks like a Christmas tree lot, and it smells wonderful. I just know this place will be breathtaking at Christmastime, and I cannot WAIT to go back!
Oh yeah and the towels were huge and heavenly!

Unique Quality: Gorgeous view but be sure to get a ground level room if you have smaller children, as they will definitely slip through the gate on the balcony! And make sure to add about $50 bucks to the base rate you are given, for all the ridiculous taxes they will be adding to your final bill.

Nice rooms / food, a little out of town though

I stayed there last October for 5 days and enjoyed my stay. The restaurant was a little expensive but was very good so worth the money in my opinion (highly recommend the liver and onions!). The rooms are large and comfortable with small table and chairs and sofa. There's a nice pool there for during the summer months. The hotel also has a small gym. The buffet breakfasts are good and reasonably priced. The only downside is that it's a little out of town but at least it far enough away from the railroad so that it doesn't keep you awake during the night (unlike a lot of other flagstaff hotels!). The site is very flat with plenty of ground floor rooms so good for wheelchair user and the elderly.
It's located right next to the I-40, exit 198.

Best Hotel in Flagstaff

We had a wonderful stay at the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff Az. The facilities are great. This is definitly a 5star hotel. They are currently renovating all of the rooms and upgrading some of the occomidations. They have the best Sunday brunch that I have ever been to. The Western Gold dining room is a very romantic place for you and your significant other to enjoy a full coarse meal.

Unique Quality: It is absolutily beautiful here at the hotel. It is surrounded by Poderosa Pines and some Spruce. Durning the Christmas months the hotel is lit with more than a million lights.

Nicest hotel in Flag

Little America is a really nice, somewhat vintage-style, classic hotel nestled in a beautiful wooded area with manicured grounds. It's not your run-of-the mill modern cookie cutter hotel by any means. This is the place where Flagstaffians have their high school proms, college formals, weddings, etc.
They have amazing buffet-style brunches everyday, and extra special ones on Sundays and Holidays.
Rooms have beautiful old wood furnishings. Very classy place.

Depending on what you want to...

Depending on what you want to do in Flagstaff, there's a hotel for everything. I wouldn't worry about accomodations, unless Snow Bowl has finally opened up and theres a whole bunch of us Phoenicians trying to get to the snow. If you're like me, and in college without money to spare, there's plenty of hostels around. They're okay, a little dirty, but what hostel isn't? There's plenty of big name hotels that are right across from the NAU campus, like Embassy suites, Hampton Inn, um... just a whole bunch. There's lots of little places that are mom and pop hotels that are just as nice, and probably a little cheaper. If you want to stay at the one, big hotel here, I'd stay at the Little America Hotel. It's a cute place that really goes all out for the Holiday's.
most places there are about 20 to 60 U.S. dollars a night. Not a bad price. If you're going to stay at a bigger name hotel then it will be a lot more expensive.

Unique Quality: Like I said, Little America has the most character, but all of the places are the same.

Little America Hotel and...

Little America Hotel and Resort
In the summer, the place is very reasonable on price... only like $70 or less. In the winter, expect to pay more because of the ski season.

Unique Quality: Look at a AAA book or wherever, and you'll probably think to yourself... How is this a 4 star hotel? This is looking at the outside of the property, and you say, wow, this just looks like a regular motel, but big. Well, at any rate, this is a luxurious hotel! It caught us very much by surprise! The front lobby is very nice, with a kind of ski lodge feel to it. There's a nice gift shop to the side that has all sorts of Route 66 gifts, as well as local items. There are a couple restaurants here as well... even the less expensive one has excellent food! I reccommend the tri-color pasta! :) The rooms are large and very well decored. Lots of pillows on the beds! :)

LITTLE AMERICA HOTEL (928)...

LITTLE AMERICA HOTEL (928) 779-2741 or (800) 352-4386
------------------------
HILTON HOTEL (928) 226-8888 (DOWNTOWN)
LITTLE AMERICA IS HIGH END.
HILTON is AFFORDABLE for this town -- much like Alaska, everything in Flagstaff is OVERPRICED !!!!!!

Locally, we like to say 'Poverty with a view.'

Unique Quality: LITTLE AMERICA is a huge & beautiful property which is nestled in the pine trees & is a self contained property.

The Hilton is nice, affordable rates and is located DOWNTOWN close to the University & freeways (I-17 & 40)
