hollyanne's new Fountain Hills Page
One of Arizona's largest cattle ranches used to be where the Town of Fountain Hills now sits. In the 1960s, a developer brought in the man who designed Disneyland and now the family-oriented community, incorporated in 1989, is home to the world¹s largest fountain.
Fountain Hills covers more than 11,000 acres. The town's largest employer is the school district.
The world's tallest, continuously flowing fountain sits in the middle of a manmade lake. Every year, thousands flock to see it erupt 560 feet into the air every 15 minutes.
