Spent this past weekend visiting Glendale, Az. ... and I have to make a couple of statements. #1. The University of Phoenix Statium is one of the BEST NFl Statiums that I have ever visited. All of the personel were most curtious, helpful and accomodating. #2. The nearby Westgate City Center was a HUGH dissapointment. I was not alone in thinking that a mall in Arizona should have been ENCLOSED !! It was easily 105 degrees out and in less you are 8 years old and can get away with running thru the fountains - you will melt ! #3. There was not a drug store, grocery store or even a 7-11 within a 6 mile radius !! Just suppose you needed a bandaid ?? Other than that we had a good time :-)

I finally met VTer EllenH and her husband Joe
in our hometown beside the University of Phoenix Stadium

Ellen and Joe flew in from Hamilton, Montana
and they are loving parents to two sons
(one studying in Montana, and the younger in Arizona)
My Jumpingwife and Jumpingtwins enjoyed their company as well,
and my son idolized Joe a lot!

During dinner at BJ's restuarant and Brewhouse,
my wife for some reason said "the spice of life"
while holding the hot pepper for the pizza -
and it was a nice coincidence because the restaurant
that VTer EllenH manages in Montana
is called "Spice of Life" (and we did not know that!)
We should visit Ellen and Joe in Montana
and try their clams, steak...yummy!
