Lake Montezuma Tip

My folks began coming here in the early '80s, and we spent many holidays visiting them. Seeing a cardinal at the bird feeder was a fond memory. Now that we live here, he comes to our feeder, and it is almost a daily occurance! We are blessed.

Be careful about mispronouncing the name of our county seat, Prescott. To fit in with locals, place the emphasis on the first sylable, and make a soft 'cut' sound for the second.
Indian Pow-Wows are performed at the Cliff Castle Indian Resort.

Don't forget to look for Montezuma Lake! This is just a very large pond in the middle of the golf course. Please do not bring your boat expecting to boat or fish in the lake, as it is not that kind of lake.
Roberts Roost in Lake Montezuma
by hotaire
Our new home in Lake Montezuma is nestled on the local golf course. How great to look out the window and watch someone else mowing the green grass (on the fairway). Our landscaping consists of rosemary, daffodils, iris, tulips, juniper, forsythia, mulberry tree, a pyrocantha hedge, various cacti, and other yet to be identified bushes. Very low maintainance, indeed.
