La Quinta Inn and Suites: La Quinta in Marana

We were not expecting to have to go through Tucson until our route through Albuquerque back to Texas was snowed out.

The hotel is clean but small, the rooms are nicely decorated but again tacky bedspreads. The beds are comfortable with pillow top mattresses. We had a microwave and refrigerator, which was nice. Internet connection is by dataport so a wireless router was required.

The hotel is next to many restaurants, the best being Cracker Barrell and Texas Roadhouse. We were snowed out again the next day as State Police were closing down New Mexico roads, and the hotel was able to book another day for us without any problems even though the hotel was filling up because of the road conditions.

Bonus, they welcome pets and luggage carts are available as opposed to other hotels in the area.

Unique Quality: Microwave and refrigerator in every room. Next to good restaurants.
