Marble CAnyon: Vermilion Cliffs has Three Lodges

The stay was for the impact and I did not really expect to go back in time 50 years. The motel and room was harkening back to the 1950's. Nothing had changed at all. They have a gift shop, restaurant, and about 35-40 rooms. All are old, but in reasonable clean condition

It had a full kitchen and a counter bar to sit. That includes a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. It seems as though this was once for long term stays, of apartments used for locals hanging around a while, of tourists staying long periods.

Canyon Colors Bed & Breakfast: Great Bed & Breakfast

Rich & Bev Jones have a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. They are very friendly and helpful and offer advice about things to do in the area. We have kept in touch with them over the years and have found lifetime friends.

Wahweap Resorts and Marina: Wahweap Resorts and Lodging

Lake Front Lodging/dining with Spectacular Views, comfortable three-bedroom family units - complete with two baths, living rooms and kitchens...and of course other room to fit your accommodations.

It's right by the Lake and you can even rent any size boats with the same company. Wahweap has two swimming pools, and enormous hot tub, gift stores, dining room, lounge and a pizza-sandwich shop.

Houseboats: Houseboats to stay on the water

At the resort near the Southshores of Lake Powell (near Page) one can rent houseboats and explore the enormous lake by oneself. This must be the greatest way to see everything of this strange surrealistic combination of water in the deserted redrock-country.

KC's Motel in 8th Avenue....

KC's Motel in 8th Avenue. Quiet and clean rooms with affordable rates. Not exactly ultra modern or hip but why should I need stuff on vacation, I have not at home.
Pretty much depends on the season. I would say the average room rate is something like US$39

House Boat: Living on the Lake

If you have more money than you need, you can rent a house boat and drive across Lake Powell for a couple of days. For those with a thinner purse - like me - check in one of the many motels/hotels in Page at the lake´s south end close to Glen Canyon Dam.

You´ve got a moving "home" and can go on the lake whereever you want to. There are several marinas where you can take your boat for the night.
