Quality Inn at Lake Powell

After checking out of the Marriot, we drove up the hill and checked into the Quality Inn. The motel is older and has seen some use, but it's not bad at all. We got a king room with a fridge. The room was huge and the hotel was quiet. Best of all the bed was nice and firm!!! The staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. We'd stay here again.

For about $50 a night, we stayed in a huge room overlooking the mountains and Lake Powell. This hotel was pretty nice with great sunset views, a Navajo Restaurant, a karaoke bar, and a pool. Though they advertised free wifi, I could not pick up a signal from my room at the end of the hotel. The room included a free continental breakfast and two tokens for drinks at the bar.

This motel was recommended by the company that organized and guided our tour in the Grand Canyon, it was also used for our orientation meeting the night before the rafting trip. They also allowed us to "store" our car in their parking lot for the entire week we were on the rafting trip.

Unique Quality: I guess mentioning the view from the motel is pointless because the entire area is fantastic, but I have included a picture anyway.
