Candlewood Suites Phoenix
even though we asked for a smoking room, the second the door was opened, all you could smell was cigarettes. It was as if I was standing in an ashtray. The smell was so strong it made me sick. I have a tendency of examining rooms as I use to work for a resort, so I did a clean check and found the carpet under the bed dirty, also the floor under the refridgerator was disgustingly filthy!!! Our stay was for 5 days, and not once did we recieve any housekeeping. I would not reccomend nor will I ever stay again. Very dissatisfied. Housekeepers need to be aware that anyone could be staying in their rooms, they should be more aware of cleaning the rooms. they should be spotless.
Unique Quality: The pool was at least 101 degrees, not cool enough for swimming in the heat.
