Closest Hampton Inn Hotel to Sky Harbor Airport
We've found Hampton Inns usually nicely appointed, very clean, friendly service, and extra amenities that you wouldn't expect for other hotels in same price range. This one is no exception. I always love the free high-speed internet they offer, the fresh baked cookies at the desk, little fitness center, large heated pool, nice little snack kiosk with everything from candy to soup. Additionally, they offer complimentary hot breakfast.
The front desk staff is very friendly and even faxed a document back to my office for free! I thought that was nice. The lobby, hotel room, bathroom are all very clean and shower has a Waterpik shower head. The room comes with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and small sink. The 37" LCD, flat screen TV offers cable stations and free premium movie channel. It also has a game system attached.
We mainly stayed here because they provide free 24-hour Airport Shuttle and we can leave our car at the hotel free while we are gone. Near the hotel is the Phoenix Zoo, Desert Botanical Garden, Papago Park, restaurants, the Papago Municipal Golf Course, and Rolling Hills Golf Course. A little farther, but still convenient to Arizona State University . They are also only 2 blocks north from the Valley Metro Light Rail 44th Street Station, which can take you right into the downtown area & Phoenix Convention Center in 15 minutes.
For those of you with doggies - sorry to report no pets allowed at this hotel.
