A classic Sheraton right on major freeway

Sheraton Crescent Hotel
2620 West Dunlap Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021
602-943-8200

We always pass by the Sheraton Crescent Hotel which is set right in the middle of the length of the major Phoenix freeway, I-17. It is literally along the freeway and accessible to a large mall called the Metrocenter. What we enjoy in this hotel is the Indigo Restaurant in which we enjoy breakfasts prepared by a good hotel chef --- my wife enjoys the eggs benedicts while I
just have my oat meal and sausages.
They do have an outdoor heated pool called the Monsoon Mountain which has a 166 foot waterslide, and sometimes the hotel offers family packages (like 50% off then hotel price) during the off-seasons. As of January 2009, some renovations are being done near the lobby and I guess this is good improvement for this 342-roomhotel which has been a part of the I-17 for quite a while.
The building is older compared to other Sheratons that I have stayed at in other parts of the world. But, overall, a very convenient classic hotel westside.

Unique Quality: Monsoon Mountain pool
(Halfway) Between the westside Glendale and the eastside Scottsdale - smack in the middle of these two cities

Sheraton Crescent Hotel

This is a nice business traveler's hotel which is very close to the airport. Its only about a 5-10 minute ride. The drawback for leisure travelers is that its about a half hour away from downtown Phoenix. Still, it has nice rooms with balconies. Don't eat here though. I wouldn't recommend it.

Adjacent to one of the largest shopping malls

Located in the Business area of North Phoenix, the Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix Metrocenter features a full-service restaurant and lounge, a fitness center and an attractive courtyard with an olympic-sized swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Unique Quality: They are adjacent to one of the largest shopping malls in Arizona. A few major corporations which are close to the hotel are Honeywell and American Express. Room rates range from $69.00 - $209.00 per night (plus tax).
