Ok, I am a golfer and Scottsdale has some of the most amazing golf courses (both visually and structurally) that I've seen, anyhwhere. The contrast between the grass and the desert (and the mountains) is really very cool, and sometimes you'll even see some man-made lakes. However, by and large the courses here are expensive (more than $100 a round, sometimes much more).
