Sprawling w/ Airport Noise. Golf Course. Noise.

So, in a nutshell, this hotel is one of those big sprawling, walk 12 miles to your room kind of places. It's a nice, new basic mid range "luxury" hotel that you'd expect from a major chain. The rooms (I was in a suite with king bed, and living area with couch) are pretty nice though unremarkable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with a separate tub and shower. Water pressure was pretty good.

The room had a balcony which overlooked a dry wash at the edge of the golf course. I watched 3 coyotes stalk a rabbit (it got away) so that was cool.

The restaurant - we ate there one night was decent but unremarkable, and it was nice that we ate out on a balcony overlooking the golf course. (I'm not a huge fan of golf courses, but the open expanse was nice)

All in all, I'd say it was a nice stay for a business trip, but since I don't golf, I wouldn't stay at this hotel for a personal trip unless I just wanted to golf at the course.

Unique Quality: The hotel is located on a nice golf course, but unfortunately that means that maintenance crews start working with VERY noisy leaf blowers at 7 a.m. I didn't mind terribly because I had to get up and get rolling, anyway, but I could see that this would be really annoying if you wanted to sleep in.

Additionally the hotel is basically at the end of the Scottsdale airport runway which means that small jets rumble over a lot. It's not very peaceful.

Parking is plentiful and very convenient.
