“Charming Romantic Villa with great views”

This was our first experience staying at a bed & breakfast and it far exceeded our expectations. The views are spectacular and there is a walking path beside the Villa that takes you to the some of the Red Rocks and wilderness area. The trail is very easy walking and climbing if you choose. Canyon Villa has a unique charm that makes you feel at home. The gardens are immaculate and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing with the fireplaces always lit and soft music playing. The breakfast and cocktail hour foods are scrumptious and there is always coffee or tea and a little surprise snack in the evening. The personalized service such as directions, tips and planning day trips were so helpful and totally removed the stress factor of not knowing the area. The Grand Canyon South Rim is about a 2 1/2 hr. drive and is magnificent! Make sure you leave for the drive early so you can return from the East Rim and take the Desert View Drive. Our best sunset photos were taken along this route. Sedona is a picturesque town and we had some of the best views from our balcony. Uptown Sedona has lots of shopping, restaurants and tours for all budgets. Les & Peg are very gracious hosts. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your gorgeous Inn. Debbie and the staff are remarkable and this Inn will be hard to beat!

Unique Quality: Spectacular views, food & atmosphere.

More about Canyon Villa Bed and Breakfast Inn of Sedona

Loved our stay and plan on returning!

by TripAdvisor Member suzanjo

My mom, aunt and I just came back from a fabulous 2 night stay in the Indian Paintbrush room. We were very impressed with the staff, our room, the food (breakfast, appetizers and cookies in the evening). I thought it was nice of them to move the bed and make room for a rollaway for the third person. The Inn has a great view of the rocks from your room and dining/living area. The Inn gives you the feeling of home and they treat you like family! Having been in the travel industry for 25 yrs, it rates in my TOP 10 LIST! Definitely take the "Pink Jeep" tour of Broken Arrow and a drive to Jerome for lunch and shopping (only 20 minutes away). In Jerome we had lunch at the "Red Rooster" and went up to the Grand Hotel for the fabulous view.

Canyon Villa Inn-Will be back

by A TripAdvisor Member

We had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before we stayed at Canyon Villa Inn. I never knew what we were missing. The staff was so helpful--without being overbearing. Our balcony looked right out at Bell Rock. The breakfast, the appetizers and the cookies each night were special. We explored Sedona but looked forward to coming back to Canyon Villa each afternoon. It truly felt like a "home away from home" for us. We'll definitely go back.

Canyon Villa Inn - The Gem of Gems!!

by TripAdvisor Member OHTravelqueen

My husband and I just returned from our 5th visit to the Canyon Villa Inn....each visit as wonderful as the previous. We began our stays in 1997 (never short of a full week each visit)and continue to return as we enjoy the inn and the area so much. We are avid inn-goers, from Ohio, averaging 6 inns per year and can't help but compare. Canyon Villa Inn is at the top of our list and is the reason for so many returns. Les, Peg and the entire staff do a tremendous job of making us feel so welcome. To begin, they make sure there is access to plenty of information about things to do in the area. There are plenty of brochures, maps, and a computer in the inn's library for guests to use. You are sent a detailed email prior to your visit which contains websites of hiking companies, weather info., ideas of things to do, lists of favored restaurants, etc. There isn't a thing Les and Peg haven't thought of when it comes to the comfort of their guests. The unobstructed views of the Red Rocks from each room is spectacular! Housekeeping does a phenomenal job. The entire inn, especially the rooms, are sparkling clean! Wonderful breakfasts are served each morning along with their famous cinnamon rolls, which by the way, are perfectly sized. (I wouldn't want them any larger or there wouldn't be room for the delicious entree.) The appetizers served every afternoon at 5:00 are not to be missed....such a treat and what a nice variety! (We enjoyed eating ours by the pool while mingling with other guests.) We especially enjoyed the baked brie with peach filling, fresh shrimp, ham and cranberry roll-ups, fresh asparagus sprinkled lightly with cheese, not to mention the wonderful variety of veggies, dip and flavored tea. Be sure to allow some time between appetizers and dinner. :)
My husband and I are quite particular when it comes to choosing an inn. We would highly recommend Canyon Villa Inn to those of you seeking a 'First Class, Quality' experience.

The Best!

Sunset Magazine brought this lovely inn to our attention, and I have to say it was the best B & B we've ever stayed in. Les and the other innkeepers met our every need, be it restaurant reservations, suggestions, directions, etc. Our beautiful room, Evening Primrose, (the cheapest in the inn by the way) had a fabulous view of the glorious red rock formations around Sedona and opened to a garden patio. The inn's location in Oak Creek Village (5 miles from the touristy part of Sedona) was perfect because it is quiet and mostly surrounded by the countryside. Now the food... to die for! The breakfasts with fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls and an entree, which you could change if for some reason you didn't like it. (My husband and I chose to substitute omelets two of the seven days we were there). There were delicious hors d"oeuvres, hot and cold, from five to six every day (we enjoyed them with wine out by the pool), and an evening cookie or snack to end the day. We read in the library, and also used the computer with free internet service. What more could anyone ask??

Just what we needed!

by TripAdvisor Member PghBarb

My sister, cousin and I have had a rough year and thought Sedona would be the perfect location to pick up our spirits. A friend had stayed at the Canyon Villa and raved about it, so when my sister found it on the internet and we checked out the website, we were all more than eager to give it a try. We needed a treat, and that's what we got.
Les, Peg and their entire staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was bright and cheerful, the views of the red rocks more breathtaking than we imagined. Can there possibly be anything more awe-inspiring than to look out your window and see Bell Rock?
The breakfasts were probably the best of any place I've ever stayed - so delicious, in fact, that I, a non-cook, bought the Inn's cookbook. The staff was very accomodating with special requests, and we enjoyed the chance to chat with the other guests who were from various places around the country and world. We even met a couple from California with family ties close to our hometown in Pennsylvania. Though thousands of miles away from our families, the warmth of the Inn and the friendliness of the staff and other guests made it feel very much like home.
The staff suggested a great little "detour" for our drive up to the Grand Canyon, which became one of the highlights of our trip. We also followed some of the restaurant suggestions and loved, loved, loved Cucina Rustica. Also, the Pink Jeep tour is not to be missed! Check out the Broken Arrow trail.
When I came back, friends commented on how refreshed and relaxed we all looked in the pictures. Mission accomplished. Now they all want to vacation in Sedona. I would, and already have, recommended the Canyon Villa to anyone who is considering a trip to the southwest. And if I am fortunate enough to return to Sedona, I will return to the Canyon Villa.

We loved Canyon Villa

If you would like to wake up to the sound of quail and an unobstructed view of Bell Rock this is the place. The owners showed us where to hike, made dinner reservations for us and fed us elegant breakfasts and snacks in the late afternoon. We would go back.

Stayed at this lovely inn (included delicious breakfast, appetizers @ 5:00PM and goodies at night) last week for 5 nights. The hosts are gracious though not overbearing, the staff is extremely helpful and attentive and housekeeping was the best. It has views and warmth. You feel quite at home, with mellow music playing as you sit in front of the fireplace. This is Sedona/Oak Creek tourism at its best!

Canyon Villa Inn is the best place to stay in Sedona

This Inn knows how to treat you right! The views from the rooms are unbelievable.
The gourmet breakfast in the morning and gourmet appetizers served from 5 to 6 pm were
wonderful. We hated having to miss the appetizers one day because we had taken a side trip. The Innkeepers are very attentive . Lots of extras to pamper you. I would highly recommend this B & B.
