Considering the Country Gardens Bed and Breakfast in Sedona?

Don't Fall Off the Cliffs! by lovemycacti
Oak Creek Canyon - the area drive from Sedona north to Flagstaff, Arizona, is not one for the weak hearted. This drive is absolutely breathtaking - if you're feeling lucky! Chalk full of beautiful red rocks, creeks and trees this drive also contains some seriously dangerous "drops" down steep cliffs unguarded by rails. If you were driving and were to sneeze at the wrong time - you could find yourself in big trouble - oh, say - at the bottom of a cliff!
The other thing that was new to me was the Transport Truck runaway points - where if a truck lost control they could slam into these huge mounds of sand to stop them. Which, in an area like this, is a really, really good thing. I'd advise to avoid this road/area in winter unless you're an extremely confident driver with excellent-grip tires and brakes!
