Legacy Golf Resort: 18-hole golf, nice pool and facilities

This place is actually a timeshare location, but we were able to get a good deal through Expedia - a Saturday night stay in a studio suite for only $77 (already with tax) - so why not? The room we were getting was normally $195 a night I think...We went ahead and did our STAYacation ( a vacation close to home).

The check-in was easy and I was not asked to participate in any timeshare promo. I asked for a second-floor unit which is near the pool. The hotel has several "casitas" and the two-level buildings are well-maintained with security regualrly patrolling the area.

Parking is very adequate and it was easy to find out building - number 2. The room looked exactly as it did on the website's virtual tour. There was a big King Bed which was very comfy and a sofa bed. The kitchen had clean utensils and I just had to remove all the knives from the drawers because the twins might find them! The patio was great because it faced the golf course and we had a great view of the green!

There is wifi available, but instead I used the hook-up which was easier.

The bathroom had a nice shower and tub and good ventilation and water pressure. There is also another building which is dedicated to a nice gym and a gift shop. Tennis courts are available and of course, the18-hole golf course.

The resort has a restauran but we did not eat there. I don't think breakfast was included in our bill. But the pool scene was great - especially for families. The twins had fun swimming at the pool and as in most resorts in Phoenix, there was a nightime big screen movie (usually cartoons and so we watched Over the Hedge which won over 3 other DVDs that all the people had to "clap" on for voting).

Overall, a great place to stay and would stay there again!
