How do you get there???

Hi, I would love to hike over A mountain. I moved to Tempe short time ago and I would love to hike early in the morning, and that's the closest mountain to hike for me. Where is the main entrance???

The only A mountain I know of is in Tucson and the A is for the University of Arizona. Tempe is a long way from Tucson. If you would like to socialize and meet fellow hikers in your area, check out the website: http://hiking.meetup.com/cities/us/az/phoenix

Thai in Tempe

Thai Basil is a nice little restaurant on University Drive that has been open less than a year. Thai Basil has red and green curry dishes, pad Thai and Isan dishes like som-tum (papaya salad) and gai yang (grilled chicken). All dishes can be ordered as spicy as the customer requests. Desserts include sticky rice served with custard or fresh mango, in season. The restaurant's signature dish, Thai basil, which includes sautéed Thai basil with a spicy garlic sauce, zucchini, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bell pepper, green beans, onions and a choice of chicken, pork or beef is quite good.
