Fantastic stay!

The owners of this B&B/guest house have made an excellent job of providing a little oasis in Tucson. Accommodation is in just two guest suites to the rear of a private house in the historical area slightly south of downtown Tucson.

I stayed in the Arizona Room which has its own, direct access through a secure entrance from the car park situated to the rear of the property. The room has a large double bed, comfy chair, small table with two chairs, ottoman, wardrobe and chest of drawers. En suite is a shower room which is provided with standard toiletries, hair dryer, fluffy towels and chair.

Jim, your host, prepares fresh baked items (e.g. muffins, scones, etc.) to go with your breakfast selection which includes cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fruit juice, jams and preserves.

The two guest suites open out onto the communal courtyard which is tastefully decorated and is planted with vines and citrus fruit trees; the courtyard includes a hot tub.

Unique Quality: Jim is a wonderful host and can provide plenty of information regarding the sights around Tucson, as well as advising on great dining options. Of course, his fresh baked scones and muffins are perfection itself! He and his partner also prepare their own preserves which are delicious.

The courtyard makes for a great place to while away a few minutes enjoying the sunshine (yes, even in November) or reading a book next to the koi pond.

Directions: I took a taxi from the town's Greyhound terminus.
