Here is an article that lists some of the businesses. Try doing a search on the individual names to see if they have websites.

Mount Lemon is a nice place to go. It's about an hour a drive from Tucson. When I was there, it was 30 degrees (Celcius) in Tucson but there was still snow on Mount Lemon! And also try and check out the Desert Museum! Of course I miss the cactusses. They are great!!! I loved them and since Arizona and Mexico are about the only places where they are, I think I've to go back once to see them again!

Right in Tucson, wrong in Europe

by matcrazy1

Can they park their cars right in Tucson? Hmm... in my (Polish and/or European) mind not at all. They just have so much space on streets and parking lots that - as you can see on my picture - they are not forced to park a car exactly and very close to a curb not mentioning "bumper-to-bumper" parking. Quite comfortable for me as a driver!

At some streets in Europe the driver of that car on my picture could even get a ticket for wrong parking (too far from a curb hehe).

From my friend LINDA (lmkluque) from San Diego, California:
The maximum distance from the curb that we can park (in California) is 18 inches. More than that and we can be ticketed.
Thank you Linda.

Hmm... 18 inches = 45.72 cm - almost half a meter. Can you imagine what would happen in Paris for example when...

by Jonurse

Hookers Hot Springs. This is a Nature Conservancy area with natural hot springs and great hiking. To use the springs you need to rent one of the casitas. This is just a wonderful place to see wildlife; like deer, and coatis, and great bird watching too. You really need a high clearance vehicle and/or 4 wheel drive once you get off the freeway. The casitas are only open from thr fall through the spring.

You can get to Tucson by train (Amtrak) or more exactly by Texas Eagle Train:
Orlando, Florida - Los Angeles, California or Chicago, Illinois - Los Angeles, California.

Pico de gallo

by mrtidypaws about Pico de gallo

The food at Pico de Gallo is simple and fresh. The tortillas are made to order and you can bring your own beer. Although it is just a hole-in-the-wall taqueria, it surpasses all the more popular nearby eateries by far- in other words, it kicks Mi Nidito's ass. Shrimp tacos
