Travel Tips for Tucson

ASDM - pottery

by matcrazy1

You can see exhibitions of local artists inside Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Do you like pottery? Look at my picture, please. I liked some vases (is it correct name?) a lot! Was it native American art or what?

Natural Beauty

by latinwithwings

Gates Pass is one of my favorite places in Tucson. I reccommend at least passing through there if you plan on going any of the following; Old Tucson Studios, Sonoran Desert Musuem, or Justins Water World.

Crafts From Around the World

by lamentforicarus about Magellan Trading

Searching for a new Indonesian God of Vengeance mask to hang in the living room? Or maybe a hand carved wooden giraffe from Zimbabwe? Magellan Trading imports beautiful handcraft and artwork from more than 35 countries worldwide, offering a great variety of headdresses from Papua New Guinea and African fertility dolls. Buy furnishings from all corners of the globe, or simply stop by to take a look at world-class masks and woodcarvings.

What a gyp

by Travelerr1 about Pinaccle Peaks

The sell a steak called the cowboy and maybe it should be called the little wrangler. I had to eat two of them just to get full. Too expensive for a small piece of meat. I had a real cowboy steak in El Paso for about $23.00 it was 2 pounds. Now that's a cowboy steak. nothing

Ghini's French Cafe

by Jonurse about Ghini's French Cafe

Ghini's is reasonably priced, the young wait staff are all very efficient and friendly, and they remember their regulars. The one thing I really love is that if you sit outside you can bring your dog..and he will get served his cookies and water before you even place your order! Wonderful crust, homemade baguettes, with an omlette du soliel.
