Big Blue House great location Tucson Location
The Big Blue House is wonderful. The service from the owners was personal and caring. Not only did they provide fresh fruit grown on trees on the property, but they also solved our WiFi problem. Sitting outside on the expansive porch, drinking coffee and playing with Lazlo the cat made the Big Blue House feel like home. If you want a great B & B experience in Tucson, stay at the Bib Blue House.

Big Blue House - Tucson bed and breakfast
Wonderful stay. Very clean and well decorated. Private entrances. Great value priced below comparable rooms in the area. University of Arizona is only blocks away. Innkeepers were gracious and helpful. Nice neighborhood to walk to Historic 4th Ave. We will return!!
Unique Quality: More like a studio apartment than a B&B. We really liked the private atmosphere and private entrances. High ceilings in this beautiful historic Tucson home.

Great University of Arizona Lodging
We had a wonderful stay at The Big Blue House in Tucson. The location is perfect for University of Arizona related visits. Most of the rooms have a full kitchen so we were able to cook our oun meals. All the restaurants of historic 4th Ave are just around the corner and we enjoyed the walk through the beautiful historic neighborhood.
Our room was beautiful and well equipped. We were especially happy with the private entrance off the porch which we spent several hours on...
All in all we could not be more happy with our visit and the innkeepers that made it all so easy to get around. We will be back!

The Big Blue House B&B - A Great Surprise
While recently visiting the University of Arizona on business I was advised to stay in the new Bed and Breakfast located only a few blocks From the University. I don't usually do the "B&B" thing because there is something uncomfortable about sleeping in someone else's home and possibly sharing a bath...
However, I was assured The Big Blue House was different... "You will see, they are more like apartments"
The house is a beautiful Queen Anne built at the turn of the century located on the corner of University Blvd. and 6th Ave., in a very nice walking neighborhood.
The room was amazing! Very spacious and decorated in very nice expensive furniture. The ceilings were 12' and the room felt even larger for it. My room had a full kitchen that was totally equipped for extended stay. The refrigerator was stocked with far more edibles than I could eat, including fresh fruit and hot and cold cereals. Hot and cold bottled water dispenser. Ozone air purifier. Very well done.
That evening I walked only 2 blocks to 4th Ave. where I had a choice of 20 or so restaurants to choose from.
I made reservations for my next visit.
