More about Sheridan House Inn
had a fantastic, peaceful rest
We just happened upon the Sheridan House Inn in Williams, AZ and it was a prize! The room had a wonderful seating area and a nice roomy bathroom. It was very clean and like staying with a friendly relative. Included was a library of videos, books upstairs and downstairs was a gameroom with a pool table(free) a piano, a separate child playroom with games, and videos where we could still keep an eye on everyone but we had our own private play space. There was also a fireplace and social hour with popcorn and snacks.
The breadfast was very gourmet. It was a buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash brown potatoes, and stuffed french toast. We also had a delightful array of fruits arranged beautifully on a platter with butterflies. (these were for decoration only, haha) They have a guest refrigerator with a wide assortment of water, soda, and juices for the taking. It is all included!! We would definitely stay there again in the future.
A definate must stay!
Staying at the Sheridan House Inn was a truly wonderful experience! A delightful host, wonderful food, lovely rooms and a "welcome home" atmosphere - we couldn't have asked for more. Our only regret is not spending more time just soaking in the experience. We hope to return for another stay, this time focused on just enjoying the Inn itself!
In the beautiful outdoors!
We really, really enjoyed our stay here! The room was delightful - though the surrounding area was so beautiful that we weren't in the room much. While my husband played golf at the lovely town course, I sat on the second floor balcony of the main building and enjoyed birds, trees and wonderful peace and quiet. SO re-newing! The hosts are great, the main building is really a home and guests are made to feel very welcome. We would definitely choose Sheridan House Inn again in Williams!
Wonderful Stay at the Sheridan House Inn
We had a most enjoyable stay at the Sheridan House Inn. The owners are very gracious, the rooms large and clean and provided every amenity - plus great home baked goodies.
Breakfast on the deck was the best!
Proximity to Train to Canyon and restaurants was very good. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone.
Celebrating Our 40th Anniversary At The Sheridan House
My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with a trip to the Grand Canyon. We wanted to stay somewhere special and found Sheridan House Inn in our travel book. After contacting K.C. regarding reservations, we knew we had found the perfect spot to make our trip to the Grand Canyon a special occasion. From that first phone calll, K.C. was so helpful with information to make our trip perfect. K.C. also assisted with reservations for our helicopter trip into the canyon and dinner at the Grand Canyon Lodge.
We were greeted with a dozen roses in our room to honor of our anniversary. Each morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast complete with a special treat such as scones and cinnamon rolls. However, Mary's Eggs Benedict were the best I have ever tasted!
We can definity recommend Sheridan House Inn for folks looking for comfortable accommodations complete with K.C. and Mary's warm hospitality.
very nice, friendly B & B
Nice, immaculately clean B & B set on the edge of woods, with nice decks to sit out on and have a drink or breakfast. Extremely nice owner who will go out of his way to make sure that you have everything you need. Wonderful breakfast in the morning served buffet style. This place feels like a real home away from home and a great place to stay to see the Grand Canyon, as it is quite an easy drive c. 50 minutes away.
Warm and generous hospitality
We arrived in Gallup on a rainy Saturday night about 8 p.m. Every room in the city was booked due to a bike race. We used the internet to find a B&B in the area. We were fortunate to find a room at the Sheridan House Inn in nearby Williams. We arrived there about 9:30 p.m. and were greeted warmly by Mary and KC despite the late hour.. They gave us a tour of the facility, which included a refrigerator stocked with water, soda, and juices. They had a room for children complete with a low table, large building blocks, and every Disney video imaginable! Our room had a king size bed, a t.v., and a shower over the bathrub in a very expansive bathroom. There were windows opened to the night air in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Breakfast was a gourmet affair with eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash brown potatoes. The fruit platter had a delicious assortment of summer melons and berries. An abundance of orange juice and superior coffee completed the meal. We enjoyed our meal on the balcony overlooking the pine forest and watched the bright red hummingbirds buzzing to the hanging baskets of flowers. We were encouraged to take bottles of water for our trip and were provided with a travel pack of snacks and toiletry items. Never have we experienced such generosity , nor found a B&B so conducive to feeling at home. Every possible need had been addressed, from the lovely shampoos and body lotions in the bathroom, to the bowl of assorted chocolate candy on the nightstand! The comfortable reading chair with the basket of magazines nearby was so inviting. We are definitely planning to return to Sheridan House Inn soon.
Just like home....only better
Sheridan House Inn was a lovely place to stay. K.C. and Mary have really made a home away from home for their guests. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were very comfortable. We had never stayed in a B & B before, and this was a terrific first-time experience. We'll definitely be back on our next time through.
A Day and A Night at the Sheridan House Inn
We just returned from our one week excursion into Arizona and wanted to thank the great folks KC and Mary who own and operate the Sheridan House Inn. We had a great time during our visit to Williams and especially our stay at the Sheridan House. The rooms were very clean and the theme rooms made the stay even more fun. The location was great. The surrounding cabin type homes and the wooded area around the Inn made the stay even more relaxing. The Inn was well kept and the Inn keeper, KC was not only friendly but more than willing to go the extra mile in making sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. The food and service was good. The Innkeeper’s dog even brought us the morning paper. We are planning to return to Williams and we will be staying at the Sheridan House Inn. Thanks for the warm greeting when we arrived and the gift when we departed. We will see you again and will certainly be telling our friends about your great Inn.
The Best Place to Stay if going to the Grand Canyon
Better than staying at a friend's home. The Sheridan House Inn is a delightful Bed & Breakfast where K.C. and Mary make everyone feel at home. They are a thoughtful and charming host and hostess. The place is suitable for couples and/or families. It is so homey and tastefully decorated that you feel like you are at a dear friends home and that is due to the warm and accomodating nature of K.C. and Mary. We arrived late at night and had not eaten. They helped us select a local restaurant which delivered an excellent meal to our family. But this was nothing compared to the outstanding breakfast spread Mary put out the next morning. Then after stuffing ourselves at breakfast (Highlight:Eggs Benedict), we sat on the porch and watched humming birds dart around the feeders which are strategically located around the porch and house. While we were leaning back in our chairs counting our blessings for stumbling upon the Sheridan House Inn, we saw a bald eagle soaring magnificently in the blue sky above, majestic as always. If you select the Sheridan House Inn for a stay, you will not be disappointed.
