A Time Share Vacation: Escapes to Bella Vista

Allan and I own a time share in Mexico, and each year we trade it in so we are able to select anyplace available to use another time share. This was the one for 2003, and we had to use it before October 31. Thus, we decided to take a late October vacation.

We chose Escapes to Bella Vista Village in the town of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Our particular time share was in the area called The Greens II. These are some of the newer condos. Ours was on the first floor, and it was the smallest one. It was somewhat a disappointment because it had no extras as the large ones do such as fireplace, patio, full kitchen, and whirlpool. Instead, we had a small dishwasher, small refrigerator, stove top, but no oven. The living room was very small. The bathroom, however, was quite lovely.

It was in a quiet area surrounded by stunning trees. It's location was excellent and quite convenient to the recreation building, the tennis courts, and two of the eight golf courses.

Unique Quality: Escapes to Bella Vista Village is a HUGE area. There are all kinds of homes, townhouses, and condos. There is a village center, restaurants, a library, police and fire departments, several lakes, eight golf courses, lots of trails for hiking, and fabulous natural scenery. This area was started in 1965 and has grown ever so much.

The population is about 20,000 residents at this time!

The unique quality, I feel, is the great number of golf courses available. Since we came here for a golf vacation, that was just wonderful.
