Incredible solid wood cabins with large fireplace, complete kitchen including all utensils-everything but the food! Not your average cabin in the woods. These structures have stood the test of time and could easily become a homesteaders dream home--not too big, not too small for 2 people and a few animals. An open living room has 2 slider rockers, a sofa with blanket, 2 side tables and a dining table adjacent to the open kitchen. The bedroom is average size with a writing table and journal for travelers' entries, and a full chest of drawers. Very impressive with a stone floored back porch complete with a sturdy picnic table, grill, and a nice view. Our weekend stay was too short!

Unique Quality: Quiet in comparison to the families that populated the campground area. We arrived the weekend before Memorial Day - the park was full but not overcrowded though apparently a popular spot for locals.
A nice park that's not too far out of the way for many Central Midwesterners.
