Travel Tips for Eureka Springs

First Baptist Church

by mrclay2000

Church architecture in small-town America is usually worth a closer look, but Arkansas seems to be a major exception. Just outside of town is the Thorncross Chapel, a prominent structure made to look like the Crown of Thorns (and listed on the National Register of Historic Places). Apart from this, even Eureka Springs has a scarcity of interesting church architecture and limited stained-glass, one exception being the First Baptist Church.

High Priced-Maybe Overrated

by BruceDunning about Rogue's Manor

We did not eat here, but did talk to locals and they seldom frequent this place due to the price and overrated for the dinners. The place is also affiliated with Cathouse lounge and Pied Pieper closer in to town; same issues. You can also stay here if you like None sampled by us-reviews below sum up the place for the most part

A Taste of the Big Easy

by mrclay2000

Farther up Spring Street is another classical hotel from the Victorian era. The New Orleans Hotel looks every bit a proper resident in the avenues off Bourbon Street. Built in 1892 and anchoring a corner in the way, the hotel is rightfully listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
