More about 1884 Tinkerbelle's Wildwood Bed and Breakfast

Wonderful weekend

by A TripAdvisor Member

My husband and I just spent a relaxing weekend at Wildwood. The breakfasts were delicous and filling. No need for lunch! David and Rebecca, the innkeepers, are warm and welcoming and appreciate fine coffee. The restaurants and antique shops that were recommended were great as well. A bonus is learning about the original owners/builders of the house. A truly remarkable home and B&B.

Awesome experience!!!!

This place is great!! The four course breakfast by candlelight is one of the best I've ever seen. The owners provide a tour and history behind the historic house and it is absolutely beautiful, and full of history. We stayed in the Rose Room with its own balcony, peaked in the other rooms with other period themes. They're all different and interesting to see. You've gotta try it!!!!!!!

Wonderful Weekend at Wildwood

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary over the Thanksgiving weekend. Having never stayed in a bed and breakfast we were not sure what to expect. We had a wonderful stay.

The house is absolutely beautiful. The food unbelievable! Go to breakfast hungry, you have a lot of food headed your way. The historical tour of the house and learning about the original builders was quite enjoyable.

We went to the Alchemy for a full body massage, wow! I will be doing that again.

We can't wait to get back.

Tinkerbelle's Wildwood 1884

This was our first experience at a B&B. I am pretty sure that this will be the most memorable B&B for us. The location was perfect Hot Springs, mountains, lake, nice city with natural springs and history. The B&B was excellent. We spend most of our 3 days in the house. The house has a tremendous history, wood work to admire. This is a great get away for a few days to rest and relax.
The owner is really a great cook, good delicious big breakfast, excellent hospitality and friendly. We got to learn a lot about the history of the house. Not to give it away but it has a tremendous histoy of who the original owners were and what they did for the state of AR. We higly recommand this for those who are looking for a great place to get away from city and shopping. Great place to rest and relax and pamper yourselves with spas and massages.

Definately recommand this.

A Fairy Tale comes Undone

You haven't been comfortable and relaxed until you spend a couple of days with Rebecca and David Hall. They make your stay as pleasurable as possible. This was our first time staying at a B&B and we are afraid no other could live up to the standards they have set for us. The breakfast is to die for (and my boyfriend swears they have the best homemade brownies). The home's history only adds to the richness and comfort to your stay. We spent most of our vacation at the home just because we found it so peaceful and restful. This is one stay you will not regret!

Best Bed and Breakfast around!!!

by A TripAdvisor Member

The Wildwood 1884 Inn is the most incredible place that my husband and I have ever been. We have traveled all over the place and we have never found a more relaxing and comfortable place to stay. The Inn is a masterpiece on the inside, so much local history that the tour is worth the stay. The rooms are comfy and cozy. David and Rebeka Hall are the best innkeepers. They will do anything you need them to do. They will make reservations for you, set up the rooms anyway you would like, just whatever it takes to please you. The breakfast they serve is out of this world. If you go to Hot Springs and do not stay here, it would be the biggest mistake you've ever made. Inns just don't come like this. We have friends that we are taking there soon, and we have friends like us that plan on going at least once a year.

A Haven of Comfort and Hospitality!!!

The Wildwood B&B is an exquisite and enchanting experience that we will never forget! David, Rebecca, and Rachael are some of the most genuinely caring and hospitable people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. . .EVER! Rather than being visitors in an establishment, you are treated as a welcomed guest in their home.
As for the house, it is absolutely gorgeous! The warmth, history, and uniqueness of the home are inviting and unforgettable. Upon entering, we were transported back to a time of true elegance and class that is greatly lacking today. From the intricate wood work to the stained glass, this house has a personality which beckons to all who enter. Each room is a unique experience in and of themselves. We were fortunate enough to stay in two of the five rooms and we were amazed with both.
Rebecca's breakfast is nothing short of amazing as well. As military members who travel extensively, we can honestly say that this was not only the best breakfast we've enjoyed, but some of the best food we have ever had.
Lastly, we just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to David and Rebecca for the privilege of staying with y'all!!! We hope to see you again soon.

Outstanding Hospitality

I surprised my wife with a last minute weekend get-away to Wildwood. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, but were absloutely blown away by the wonderful warmth and hospitality of the staff and caretakers. The home is just beautiful and has an interesting history behind it. We were made to feel at home and were very comfortable. The breakfasts were terrific and very special. I would highly recommend Wildwood B&B to any couple looking for a quiet respite and tremendous southern hospitality!

A Fairy Tale Weekend! We've never seen anything like it!

INCREDIBLE is the one word that can experience this past weekend at Wildwood! As soon as we drove up we were amazed! It only got better!
Hot Springs is definitely lacking when it comes to nice updated places to stay. But when we vacation in Americas First Resort town again, we WILL be going back to Wildwood! We had never stayed in a bed & breakfast before. The instant feeling of comfort in this home is overwhelmingly great! Rebecca and David treat you as if you are family and you still get your privacy and relaxation in.
They provided free conciere services (they offered every morning at breakfast to make reservations for you at restaurants and entertainment spots) and gave great opinions on places they like to go around Hot Springs.
The five bedrooms in this victorian mansion are all tastefully decorated very differently. We stayed in the most popular Kippling suite (honeymoon suite) and it was great! Not only was it "tucked-away" from the other rooms, but it had it's own private door from the home.
There was a food room full of food for you to enjoy at all times (along with fresh made brownies Rebecca made for the weekend guests!) and we found that really convienient. The breakfast was great. We were expecting bacon and eggs but got a five star 6 course breakfast! Unbelieveable! She must have gotten up at 5 every morning!
The history tour was awsome! Ask about the shoe closet! Really cool! Highly Recommended for a honeymoon or just a weekend away! We'll have a hard time staying in a hotel again!

surpassed expectations

by TripAdvisor Member mrskittie

My husband and I just returned from spending four nights on an "anniversary" excursion at the Wildwood 1884. We rarely do a bed and breakfast because we are campers and own our own trailer but this year we felt like splurging a little and being pampered. We were definitely pampered by Rebecca and David and staff. They were very accommodating and aimed to please. Rebecca even laughingly fulfilled a strange request I had for a souvenir for our son. The area where they surpassed expectations was in the breakfast. The day before we left home I cooked a big breakfast and told my husband to enjoy because it would probably be the best breakfast he would get for days. I was wrong. The menu at Wildwood is gourmet (which we don't care for normally) but there were enough country or homey touches to make it appealing to most everyone. The house was awesome and if you know anything about civil war history it'll send shivers down your spine. If we ever do a B & B in Hot Springs again, it'll be at the Wildwood.
