Another institution which brings Arkansans much pride is our renowned university system. This one, the Little Rock campus of the University of Arkansas is home to one of the foremost English as a second language programs in the nation. Because Children's Hospital and the U of A Medical Science center attracts the best of minds from all over the world, we have seen the need to serve the non-English community. This has also spilled over into the public school system, with Central High serving as the Foreign Language Magnet school and Hall High equipping the non-English speakers of our city. Feeder schools for Central are Dunbar Middle School and Gibbs International Magnet.

I found this place by accident, now I can't stop going there for lunch! It's the best BBQ in Little Rock! The owner, Rick, runs a high quality and clean restaurant. I recommend the pulled pork salad and roasted chicken!

The downtown district along the riverfront on Little Rock has really made a turn around in 10 years. It can now hold up to any other small metro across the U.S., when it comes to bars & entertainment.

I love Arkansas and especially Little Rock. Its probably because I was born here and lived here all of my life and was taught from birth to be proud of my heritage, for both sides of my family have deep roots here in Arkansas. The thing I love the most is how beautiful it is here. There are trees everywhere, and even though I can't say there is no crime it is pretty quiet. Some times you can feel bored here, because there is almost nothing to do in such a small state, but there is plenty of out door stuff you can do. Learn to ride a horse, go hiking up Pinnical or Petit Jean moutain.
