A stunning example of over-the-top Arkansas Noveau Riche Top-of-the-Internet-Boom architectural treasure! You must see this if you are anywhere near Fayetteville. There were rumors it might be converted into a Playboy Mansion style funhouse, according to the Yahoo message boards on Edgwater Technologies, a comapny associated with the Brewer Mansions 'proprietor'. As featured in Arkansas Living recently!

The Community Bakery is a cross between a restaurant and a takeout bakery. The coffees served here are excellent, but without a doubt the pastries and the cookies are the best. Be sure to come early if you want ham & cheese croissants our their trademark sugar cookies because they never last past noon. Ham & Cheese Croissant

Little Rock ROCKS!

"4 Days in Little Rock"

Our main reason to visit Little Rock was to do genealogy research and to spend time with a distant cousin. We were surprised by how much we enjoyed our time spent here. We thought the downtown area was great and the areas around Little Rock were very nice looking. We spent most of a day working in the State Archives and we also enjoyed part of a day at the William J. Clinton Library. We took a drive out to the Wye Community to see my husband's great grandfather's grave. It was about 45 miles from the city and it was a beautiful drive. We also were toured around some places, one being the Oakland Fraternal Cemetery.
We ate at a couple of neat places and I guess I would have to recommend a visit to Little Rock. I hope we can go back for another visit!

Little Rock is a city of insiders. Make friends with a local and the city will become a completely different place for you. Above all, enjoy yourself. Southern lifestyle will take over and you won't have much choice except to kick back and smile and you meander around town.
