Don't Forget California Adventure!
by chrisgerke
When you go to Disneyland don't forget to go next door to California Adventure. It's different than Disneyland but it's still fun! I remember sitting on my grandfather's lap watching Fantasmic when I was a little kid. I was about 8 but I knew I never wanted to leave.

Ok, you probably thinking this is a no brainer, but you'd be surpised how many times I see families lost and going back and forth from each part of the park. I don't need the maps, because I know the park like the back of my hand:-) Yet, there are those who don't attend the magical place of earth that often. So hang onto this wonderful source of information so you can plan and map out which cool ride to get to next. Oh, don't forget checkout, which rides that might be down that day. They usually have a sign on the ticket booths windows, which rides are not in operation for the day for planning purposes.

During the summer time you can expect warm to hot days with cool evenings. I would suggest light clothing during the day, but don't forget the sweatshirt because the evenings and early mornings at Disneyland tend to get a little cool. Winter can get pretty cool (in the 50's to 70's) with more rain during this time.
Yet another cool stadium....
by Jabberjenn
Each ballpark in North America is unique in its own way, and Edison Field is no exception to that rule. Without a doubt, what people will remember most after visiting this stadium is the Outfield Extravaganza area, the signature piece of the ballpark. The "Extravaganza" area is located behind the outfield wall in left center-field. It kind of looks like a bunch of rocks with water geyers that spray up into the air, and fireworks will shoot off after each great play on the field.
Like most ballparks, beer, food, and parking are all pretty expensive, but its well worth the cost to see such a cool stadium. Be aware that Edison Field is located rather close to the Disneyland Resort...maybe this is a good time to drop off you nagging wife and hyperactive kids at Disneyland so you can enjoy a quiet afternoon at the ballpark! Locals here have told me games don't usually sell out on the weekdays, unless the Angels are playing another California-based team. I purchased my tickets for this game on the internet just to be safe, especially since I was coming from across the country and didn't want to be stuck without a ticket.
If you're in the Anaheim area (or even the L.A. area) try to catch a game at Edison Field.
