Inside the park, getting around is fairly easy. However, here are some tips. The Enchanted Tiki Room has a long walkway when you leave the attraction. Insist on being able to use the elevator. They refused to allow the use of the elevator and I ended up hurting walking from the exit back to the front to use my ECV. Come to find out, they are supposed to allow any mobility impaired person to be able to use the elevator, unfortunately on this day we had an unaware host who wasn't very good starting off the show in the first place.
The Haunted Mansion, if you cannot walk or stand in line for even 5 minutes, make sure to let them know. They will allow you to bring your ECV right up to the buggy, although there might be a longer wait time to get on. They also will stop the buggy to let you on.
The Jungle Cruise, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Carribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and all Fantasyland rides allow you to enter through the exit or Fastpass line. The guide you are given gives you instructions.
We were unable to ride Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin, Matterhorn and It's a Small World because of the lines.
Now another warning, Finding Nemo Submarine Adventure is a long wait. Our cast member forgot about the handicapped line and for 2 hours we waited to ride this attraction in the cold. Finally she admitted she forgot about us and then we were able to board. However, there is another thing to watch out for, the stairs getting into the submarine, they are tricky.
Shopping in Disneyland is not handicapped friendly. The stores are crowded and cramped, so you will have to walk most of the stores. Know what you want beforehand, have someone scout it out, and then go in and buy it immediately.
