5K road race - starts in parking lot of Mall, goes through Arboretum and ends up on the inner training track at Santa Anita. Fun but crowded and a bummer of a run in rainy season. Not a personal best type of run but still worth the trip. Is run in April on the same day as the Santa Anita Derby
Off to the races! Horse Racing that is!
Santa Anita Park is located in Arcadia California, a residential community 14 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles. The race track property is 320 acres bounded by Huntington Drive, Baldwin Avenue, Colorado Street, and Colorado Place. The Santa Anita Fashion Park mall lies southwest of the race track.
