Hotel in Arcadia
There are quite a few choices of hotels in Arcadia and this one is starting to look run down. For some reason they really need to clean the carpets or replace them because they had quite a few stains in them. I usually enjoy staying at Embassy Suites but this one had some drawbacks. Our room was located on the side where there was a constant humming noise from a generator. The complimentary breakfast was sorta okay. A cook station where they prepare eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage and potatoes. Cereal, pastries, fresh fruit (melons and cantelopes), yogurt, coffee, juice, bagels, muffins, toast. It sounds better than it had looked. It's a comfortable hotel if it wasn't for the noise while you're trying to sleep (an important aspect of your hotel experience in my opinion). They have an indoor swimming pool and hot tub and an excersize work out room.

A Great Hotel
This is a fine hotel with a beautiful tropical atrium and (included) free full hot breakfast and (included) free cocktails for guests from 5:30 - 7:30. Had wonderful accomodations, two separate rooms, one bedroom and one living area. Both rooms have TV/Cable/Movie rentals... In a nice neighborhood, close to interstate. Room had microwave, fridge, good restaurant, and could recommend it to anyone. If you've stayed at an Embassy Suites you know you can expect it to be good.
Unique Quality: Close location to Santa Anita horseracing track, next door to steakhouse, across street from a variety of good restaurants, from sushi to pasta. Easy to find your way around from here. Indoor pool and hot tub, dry sauna, workout room. No need to go out if it's raining, though, as the hotel has good people and food, bar. Good place for business, too. Meeting rooms and catering were very good. Gift shop even sold swimsuits, but don't forget yours. Good for business and pleasure/liesure.
Short drive to Huntington Library and Gardens, a must-see while in the area.
