Exit from Hwy 58 onto Chester Ave and turn right on Truxtun, which is the first street under the railroad tracks and as you turn right, it is on the right side next to the Amtrak Train Station.
Buena Vista Museum of Natural History
This is a wonderful place that most schools will take their students too. I happened to walk by and ventured in. It is located in the historical part of town off of Chester Ave. It has some many wonderful displays of natural aritifacts and exhibits the children can see and learn from. My son said he enjoyed it and now I know why. It goes out of its way to educate all who seeks. It has a wonderful giftshop and if you feel like venturing more. Your in the downtown of Bakersfiels where there is lots of shops and some of the sightseeing is here. Enjoy!

This is a great place to visit and to bring the family and friends to enjoy the day and all the park has to offer and wonderfully displayed art exibits. Also on site it the Lori Brock Childrens Discovery Center for the great and small to enjoy!
