RED LION BAKERSFIELD: NO GOOD!! STAY AWAY

The Red Lion in Bakersfield is way below average! First they will fill all the back rooms first due to they save the ones up front for the “bus” that’s coming in. The rooms in the back reek of Seabreeze to get rid of the smoke from the smokers, you have the highway 99 noise and the bar traffic from the finish line (Bar at the Red Lion)
Customer service is very poor when you can find someone to help you at the front desk. If you need internet you might be lucky enough to hit it when it is working but don’t plan on it.
My shower would suddenly go to full hot and burn bad, I reached up to turn the head of the shower and hit my head on the shower head which broke the head out of the wall, I left two days later and it was still not fixed, I just showered with the water coming out of the wall. (Yes I reported it immediately)
The carpets are disgusting DO NOT BRING SMALL CHILDREN THAT CRAWL this carpet is disgusting!!
They could care less about you, the positives about the Red Lion of Bakersfield, The landscaping is nice and it is close to the highway 99, but there are others in the same vicinity that is much nicer.
