Morro Bay's best kept secret!
The Back Bay Inn is right on the water at the crook of Morro Bay. It is a quiet area with beautiful gardens and landscaping. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and simple. We stayed in Room 11 on the second floor, which had a large window that looked out into the bay. It provided a lot of natural light and a picturesque view of small fishing boats. The room has large bed, a sitting area, fireplace, and 2 plush robes. The bathroom was also large but unfortunately, the shower was low flow and didn't provide strong water pressure. The Back Bay Inn provides breakfast from the coffee shop located at the end of the driveway. They had tasty pastries and breakfast options like eggs, bacon, etc. The Inn was in close proximity to hiking and wineries. The views to the Inn, along with the welcoming staff makes this a great choice if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay!
