I've stayed for two nights in Aug 2005. Nice room, very good location in the Gourmet Gheto and close to the Campus and BART. Everything you could expect for such a price. I recomend it for a stay. Many of my colleagues at UC Berkeley put up their guest here.
On the internet I read some comments that this hotel is dirty and stay is unfriendly. I cannot say that. The carpet in the hallway may need some cleaning but the room was clean and staff was friendly.
