Cute Motel
This little place has several motel rooms and a campground. We stayed in a 2 bedroom for my family. The rooms were very tiny, no tv, just the basics...(But..who wants to watch TV in Big Sur??). The motel has a general store, restaurant, and tavern. Occasionally they have musical acts at the tavern, which can get quite noisy. We were warned that on the first night of our stay, it would be noisy. All the rooms in Big Sur were already booked, so I couldn't change my accomodations. I did have trouble sleeping, (I would've enjoyed the music if I didn't have my little kids with me)...but I appreciated the motel calling me in advance to warn me and giving me the option of cancelling.
The price was extremely reasonable compared to other accomodations in the area.
Unique Quality: Cozy, rustic feel. Convenient with general store and restaurant on site.
