Tampico Tumbler
I got on the Tampico Tumbler on which cars would spin vertically 15 feet (5 m.) above the ground and go around simultaneously. Sadly, in the spring of 2003, they decided to close it down in order to give way to another ride.
Is it obvious that we're so tired?
I love this park!

hi, can anyone tell me if there is a shuttle bus or similar transport from near Disneyland to Buena Park area. We are coming from New Zealand and staying in Anaheim but want to go to several places in Buena Park, like Knotts Berry farm and Medieval Show.
From Disneyland area you can take the Orange County transit system. Take route #43 to Harbor-La Palma in Anheim, you will need to transfer at this point. You will need to cross the street and wait at La Palma-Harbor in Anheim. Take bus number 38 to Buena Park. This will take you to Knotts Berry Farm and to Medival Castle area. You can ask at your hotel in Anaheim where the closest #43 bus stops. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes and is a 15 minute service.
There is a Knott's Berry Farm shuttle from the Anaheim Hotels to Knott's every day. Here is the information for you. It is very easy to do.

Within the park you will find a fully functioning blacksmith shop that dates back to the 1800s. Here you can watch the blacksmith work with iron making things like horseshoes and branding irons. The blacksmith will tell you all about the history of blacksmiths and the important role they played in the old west.
You can have a personalized horseshoe made with you name on it if you would like.
The museum features 10,000 square feet of strange and unusual artifacts and activities.
At Ripley's, you'll discover the unique, the bizarre, and the beautiful. The museum has assembled a collection of real-life phenomena and scores of curiosities that are so obviously strange and yet so mystifingly true. The collection is sure to convince everyone that "truth is indeed stranger than fiction." Believe it or not!
If you plan to visit both Ripley's Museum and the Wax Museum, you can get a combination ticket that will save you money. Call them to check for pricing.
We took a trip to Southern California this summer - a last minute trip. Booked our room at the Holiday Inn Buena Park, as we trust the Holiday Inn name -- and it was perfect -- located a short drive from Disneyland (and they have a free shuttle) and 2 minutes from Knotts and Knotts Soak City.
They call the area "The entertainment cooridor" so much to do and see - our family had a blast all week!
The kids loved their special room (called a Kids Suite) - they had their own bunk beds and TV and vcr -- but I do have to say the room was small -- we, the parents, were a bit cramped for space -- but the kids had a blast!
Take a look for yourself at the hotel -- something to consider on your next trip to Disneyland!
