Besides Disney and Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm is an older, smaller and less crowded park than the others. Yet, it has a wide variety of shows, rides and attractions for the whole family. For anyone who likes theme parks, Knotts Berry Farm is a must.

Halloween night at the farm.
Quite scarey. There were zombies.scarey Elvises.
Elvira. People chase you round the park. Anything.
A few people dressed up in Halloween costumes but it was better that the staff did it , as then you knew who was who.

The Hollywood Wax Museum
by roamer61
The Hollywood Wax Museum is a little known attraction down the road from Knotts Berry Farm. This great museum had life-like figures of famous stars from both the movies and TV. Many in realistic scenes. Examples are Laurel and Hardy, Dorothy and company from the Wizard of Oz and Star Trek. (Note: Exhibits may change over time) This picture is a scene from the Our Gang Comedies.
terrible, but convenient.....

This really is the only hotel you'd want to stay at when going to Knotts Berry Farm. The package they have is good and you're walking distance to Knotts and the water park. The front desk staff was very nice and the lobby is welcoming. The rooms however, are horrible, at least the one we stayed in. We were put in one room on the 5th floor only to discover there was no bathtub for our kids, so they moved us immediately to another room on the 5th floor. The rooms are very worn - floors with brown stains- the bath had mold around it - the bed sheets were so thin you could see the mattress underneath and well as the blanket was incredibly thin. We ended up getting people next to us around 10pm and we heard their entire conversations. I couldn't wait to get out of the room every day. There was no room circulation and it smelled bad. The restaurant Amber Waves was very good with good service. The kids loved Chef Snoopy coming in to see them. You can get 20% off meal coupons at the gift shop. There is also a Claim Jumpers around the corner for good meals! The days we were at Knotts Berry Farm the lines were very, very long. 2-3 hour waits for alot of the rides. We ended up only seeing half the park. We spent the next day at the water park which was fantastic!!! The pool at the hotel is good. They supply towels there. All in all I wouldn't go back. Would probably stay in Anaheim if we were ever to visit Knotts again.
It's the most conveniant place to staty for local theme parks

We stayed here as our base while we went to area attractions such as Disneyland It is nice because it is not as hectic to stay here in Buena Park as it is on the streets surrounding Disneyland, but you are 5 minutes away from Disneyland, and right next door to all the other atttractions. Within a 1 block area there are many area attractions including Knotts Berry Farm, Medeival Times Dinner Show, Wild Bills Wester Dinner Show which is being transformed into a Pirate Dinner Show. They also have a Ripleys, Water Park, and a Wax Museum all on 1 block. There is a nice Claim Jumpers Resteraunt for dinner, and Po'Folks for breakfast. There is a Starbucks, Outback and other resteraunts, along with a Walgreens for picking up sunscreen and what not.
The hotel has a nice pool with an outdoor bar, and kids waterplay area. Towels are available at the pool. They have an arcade too and a gift shop. This hotel has a special floor where they do a Snoopy promotion with the Knotts park, the art is snoopy and the hallways have Snoopy figures painted, and Snoopy comes to say goodnight to any kids that are in their room at the time he comes. At $50 extra per night it seemed a little overpriced.
They have a very good resteraunt and room service, with an affordable but delicous daily breakfast buffet. You can park at the hotel and walk into Knotts as it is right next door, and your parking pass for the hotel is good for Knots as well. The parking lot is secured. The lobby is very welcoming. The rooms are clean, the beds are OK, but not great. The quality of towels and sheets was average. When my wife asked for more towels and pillows, they came right away. Friendly staff, easy check-in, but they do not let you check in until 3 PM. Check out was easy too. We had a ground floor room that was pretty quiet, good sized, and looked into the courtyard. They claim to have shuttle for Disneyland and area attractions but it was never around when we wanted to use it, and the front desk could not tell me when to expect the shuttle when I checked with them every morning.
Hotel has a pleasant upscale looking exterior. This is a family hotel, so there are tons of kids here. Place gets quiet during the week. They are tied to Knotts Berry farm and you can get package deals that include rooms and ticlkets, or buy tickets at hotel. Knotts was a big treat for the kids, a different speed and type of attractions after 2 days at Disneyland. It is much more homey and accessible, for one thing they have "Camp Snoopy" which is designed for the under 10 crowd, and is a big hit indeed. They also have tons of big thrill rides for the older set. Best of all we did not wait in lines at any attractions, unlike DL. Overall a good deal for the area and what you get, would reccomend. Location-wise it is the best place to stay for an Anaheim area visit to the theme parks.
A period of flux??
by TripAdvisor Member KARENO
We stayed at this hotel last week for five nights. We had got a price match deal under the Radisson Best Online Rate Guarantee that reduced our room bill from $500 to $300!!
Radisson had informed us that as from beginning of April the hotel would not longer be under their banner - they were going independent - and I think this showed.
The hotel appeared to be in a period of flux - staff seemed confused - especially the security man who told us there was no one that could book tours !. I later found the charming Concierge did this job. The Citrus Cafe was closed and the hotel appeared "cold".
Having said this our room was adequate - the smallest of this trip - wonder if this was because of our rate deal? Hmm All amenities were there - no towel holder in sink area and the coffee maker tainted all the coffee with a bleachy taste. It must have been descaled recently but the free coffee was undrinkable.
We were offered a higher or lower floor and took a room on the 8th over looking the park. We were able to get discounted tickets from reception.
The Amber Waves restaurant - get 20% discount coupons from reception and the gift shop ( you can get more than one!!) - was fine for dinner. The breakfast buffet was a little samey - but we got used to it!!
10% discount on all purchases in Gift Shop too - ask for voucher.
Kids and hubby loved the pool spa and water feature.
We had problems on check-out over the agreed rate - so glad I printed off those emails and it took ages to see if we had been pre-charged or not.
Don't get me wrong - this was not a bad hotel - I just think they are going through a period of change!!

We went to disneyland during spring break and stayed at the Radisson knotts Berry Farms Resort. It was very nice, better that What I expected. The room service is limited. Snoopy was in there and that was a plus with the kids. I would stay here again.
Great location but noisy
by TripAdvisor Member SLOJJ
We just returned from a weekend at the Knott's Resort and found the hotel's accommodations to be average. The location is excellent if you are going to Knott's Berry Farm or Soak City, as both of these parks are a short walk from the hotel. Parking was $9 for two nights.
We stayed at the hotel with our 16 and 13 year old sons, and our 18 month old toddler. The older boys enjoyed the hotel's arcade and the pool, which is open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. While the pool doesn't have a shallow area for young children (depth starts at 3 ft.), there is a fun water play area with shooting fountains that the younger kids loved, and a hot tub for adults. Towels are available poolside, and there is also a beverage bar.
We were given a room on the 5th floor, but found it extremely noisy as we were directly above a high school graduation party. The staff were gracious enough to move us to the first floor, which was much quieter. However, the walls are quite thin in this hotel and be advised that children run up and down the hallways at all hours of the day and night. You can also hear neighbors conversing if they are loud speakers. We discovered this at 6 a.m. on a Sunday morning.
The hotel staff in general were very friendly. The room itself was average and showed signs of age, and bedding and towels were merely adequate. Bottled water on the bathroom counter was available for $3. Even though dry cleaning is available, there weren't any plastic bags (which we like to use for dirty laundry).
Knott's Berry Farm was a great family park and the older boys enjoyed the thrill rides, while my toddler had fun in Camp Snoopy and the Ghost Town. We had dinner at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant, which we all enjoyed. The restaurant does not take reservations, and the line out the door can be impressive. We ate early (5 pm) on Saturday and had about a 20 minute wait, which wasn't bad. The fried chicken dinner was delicious and a bargain at $12.95, since it came with warm rolls, soup, salad, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and a piece of pie.

Has anyone stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Buena Park, or does anyone know whether or not its a good hotel?

If you mean the Radisson Resort Knotts Berry Farm, then it is a good hotel. Located within a short walk to the Theme Park and to the great restaurant that made Knott's famous with the chicken dinner. Not to be missed if a tourist. Not much else within walking distance, but is you are driving, then all of the area is within a short drive including Disneyland and the south coast.
