This is , paws down, THE best service we have ever had....and we've been around!! It is not just dog friendly...its Dog Embracing!! The cater to pooches as well as regular ol humans....awesome property...ocean view....coffee and cookies...appetizers at sunset.....sunset chairs on a manicured lawn....it is spectacular!!!

This seaside community on the central Coast is awesome!! Great shopping and galleries...not so dog friendly on the beach...but the Cambria Shores Inn more than makes up for it....check out my lodging tip
Would like some great rest. off the beaten path. Have heard this area is known for their clam chowder and of course the fantastic wine. I will be on my own and staying in Cambria.
Lunch spots and dinner places for a single woman's budget. Thanks so much.
P.S. Found a great place to stay in Cambria at the Cambria Shores Inn, will give a report when I get back home.
You'll love the location of the motel you chose. It's where I walk every day. It's right at the beach. The Clam Chowder you probably heard about is at the Sea Chest, it's right down the street from your motel. Our favorite restaurants include Robin's, The Brambles, Moustache Pete's and Linn's. Oh yes, Wild Ginger is great too. You should do some wine tasting along Highway 46 while you're here. The Zinfindels and the Cabernets are very good in this area.
