The Forest Theater is the oldest continuing outdoor theater west of the Missisippi. World class performances in a stunning outdoor setting. Two large fire-pits frame the beautiful stage. Patrons can bring in their own picnic including alcohol(yee-ha!)and sit down to the likes of 'Fiddler on the Roof" 'Man of La Mancha' Jesus Christ Superstar or Sound of Music etc. The Monterey Penninsula is home to incredible actors, singers and performers of all ages.you will not be disappointed. Forest theater also offers great refrshments on site. Shakespeare under the stars or in the mist of Carmel...a bottle of Bernardus Marinus fromCarmel Valley and a nice blanket...Oh Yeah!.......................................... Plus classic movies in the summer.
