Centrally located great Inn

I stayed in the Svendgaars Inn because I claimed one of the auctions that I got. I paid the minimum price for the VT auction and got a four nights stay for the normal price of one night. Great deal...isn;t it.
This is very conveniently located centrally in Carmel on the corner of Fourth and San Carlos. It is not a super luxurious place, but has a nice and quiet feel to it.
The Inn keeper was kind enough to leave the key under the mat because I was arriving in Carmel after midnight with the nine hour drive from San Diego.
The breakfast is continental and is left outside your door in a basket.
The pool is nice though unheated.
Thoroughly recommend this place.
