Centerville Cemetary
by Tom_Fields
East of Chico is the tiny town of Centerville, which dates back to the 19th century. The old cemetary is the final resting place for some of the early settlers in the region.
Go out Skyway to Honey Run Road, turn left, and follow it. It becomes Centerville Road. Just beyond the covered bridge, the road goes uphill, and the cemetary is on the left.
Chico: a Mix of College Life & Small Town America

"Downtown Chico"
Chico has one of the most vibrant downtown areas I've ever seen ~ and it's not because of any new "redevelopment" project. Between generations of local families who live and shop here, and the students of Chico State who live and shop here, and the unique, locally owned boutiques, arts projects, dress stores, restaurants, etc. ~ the downtown area has been able to support itself and stay healthy.
It's definitely worthy of a visit!
freddy

freddy (no capital, he never uses one), lives in Chico which is 90 miles above Sacremento - I assume that is north, not really above, but with freddy, you never know. We girls think of him as our angel, watching over us, sometimes giving us what-for.
