My mother and daughter stayed here and I frequently attend events here in the conference rooms. I also have a friend who stays at this hotel frequently. They all recommend staying here, but since the changeover to Doubletree the rates have gone up and so has the snootiness factor. Apparently your best bet is actually a weekend stay since their clientele is mainly business. Call and ask for a deal, you may get one but next to the newly opened Casa 425, they're the most expensive place in Claremont. That said, I would not have anyone I know stay anywhere else in the city. The other places are full of people from the Greyhounds bus station. Eeew. Stick to the safe places, Doubletree, Casa425, & The Sheraton Fairplex in Pomona or stay with a relative. It's more expensive than those cheap places by the freeway, but do you want to feel clean and safe?

Unique Quality: It has a nice, though small pool area. Very lush. Adjacent to the very nice Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theatre and one unique thing you can do is book a package for dinner and a show AND a night at the hotel for much cheaper than one night at the hotel booked directly through them! By the way, even though their regular nightly rate is about $189, you can get better deals by asking (about $89) or with the theatre deal. This hotel is also very close to the Claremont Colleges so stay here if you're planning on touring Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pomona, etc.
