Don't be too jealous about Fast Trakers
Travelling on the 91 freeway upon entering Corona and Riverside County (from Orange county), motorists come across the "Fast Trak" lanes. These are lanes dedicated to locals who commute, usually Monday-Friday from county to county. At peak traffic times, morning and evening "rush hours", packed traffic is eased (just a bit) by the Fast Trak riders who have a device placed in their automobiles to allow themselves passage into the lanes. Though it may be tempting, other drivers cannot legally going in these lanes. Don't be too jealous of Fast Trakers though- riders who want to use FastTrax have to pay, up to about $5.00 each time going on a Fast Trak section. Average cost of entering is about $2.50 For peak times, the rate is higher and during weekend slow period it's often $1.00 or less.
